Irrigated Crop Entomology Lab (ICEL) Hermiston Agricultural Research & Extension Center Oregon State University
The Irrigated Crop Entomology Program at Oregon State University is located at the Hermiston Agricultural Research and Extension Center in eastern Oregon. Research studies in this program are designed to support sustainable irrigated farming systems. Research in the program covers crops such as potatoes, corn, wheat, and other specialty crops in eastern Oregon. Insect pests of interest in our studies include aphids, potato psyllids, Lygus bugs, Colorado potato beetles, and beet leafhoppers in the region.
